Biography
I am a clinical instructor at St. Cloud State University Speech-Language Hearing Clinic in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department. I recently retired from the public school system, where I helped to develop the Augmentative Communication Coaching to Enhance Student Success (ACCESS) Team. This team included speech therapists and related professionals who specialized in AAC. After retiring, I found myself at my alma mater, teaching the next generation of speech therapists. I am a member of ASHA SIG 12, Minnesota Speech Language Hearing Association AAC Committee, and recently joined USSAAC Diversity Equity Inclusion Accessibility (DEIA) Committee. In addition, I am on the SCSU Assistive Technology Committee. I am passionate about helping people find their voice and access to the world around them.
