Mother of an adult who use AAC Communicator for 23 years. I love to help families who are just starting out on their AAC journey. My youngest son has CP and use AAC.

Someone who supports an AAC user either in a paid position or unpaid

Has training in AAC? Yes

Advocate

Someone interested in AAC advocacy activities
Currently involved in: I advocated for my son and anyone who need to use a communication device, no matter how old is the person.
Would like to get involved with: How funding SDG work, how families can get support, nursing homes could get communication device to use, and anything else.
Formally trained in effective advocacy? Yes
