Biography
My name is Mike Hipple. I have been using AAC for 20 years and I have been in the community for the past 15 years. AAC is my life. I use it for communication, but I am in the field too. I think we have more and more AAC Communicators in the field now and in the future too. It is awesome to see this. I found Wisconsin AAC Network in 2015. It is a state network for everyone in the state's AAC community. I sit on many committees for AAC, assistive technology, and special education. I wrote a children's book about starting school in 2010. In addition to speaking events, I mentor and work with therapy teams and families virtually for a small fee of $10.
