Biography
With over 30 years of experience as an EMT, I bring a unique perspective to my advocacy work. After experiencing a stroke in 2022 and developing aphasia, I became a dedicated NAA Ambassador. I now use an AAC device to support my communication and am passionate about raising awareness of aphasia and hidden disabilities. I focus especially on helping First Responders recognize and effectively communicate with individuals affected by these conditions.
