Biography
I'm Stephanie Fassov (Steph), and I use she/they pronouns. I hold bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication Studies from San José State University, with my master's work focusing on autonomy, independence, identity, and communication among people with significant mobility and communication differences. I'm an AAC peer counselor, holistic wellness coach, and founder of **AAC Peer Support: Empowering Individuals to Find Their Voice**. My approach draws from person-centered, narrative, solution-focused, ACT, DBT, relational-cultural, and Self-Determination Theory frameworks. I'm passionate about empowering AAC communicators and their support systems to build authentic, value-driven, connected lives.
